Connecticut realtors typically charge no fees, though a few may charge a small application fee (typically < $50). A security deposit of one or two months’ rent is generally required at the time you sign a lease. The deposit will be returned when you leave, provided the apartment is clean and in good condition (as defined by the landlord).
