Following are some helpful tips and guidelines for making
this mailing list more productive and enjoyable.
- Please be respectful and consider that all
your classmates will be able to view messages. Remember, the default
reply address is the Listserv, and not to the person
who wrote the message.
- Sign your postings. The Listserv will appear
as the Sender, so please indicate your name and email address
at the bottom of your postings.
Is
there a cost for subscribing to the Listserv?
There is no charge for this service.
How
do I subscribe?
All members of the Class of 2007 have been automatically subscribed
to the Class Listserv with your current email address. If your email
address changes, please be sure to update your address at yalesom@som.yale.edu
or call 203-432-8510. Your new email address will be automatically
reflected in the Class Listserv. (Please remember that your “yale.edu”
address will work until October 31, 2007).
If you
wish to unsubscribe, there is a link at the bottom of the Class
Listserv email.
To post a message to the Listserv, send an email to somalumniclass2007@somlists.yale.edu.
When you receive a message from the list, you can reply to it as
you would an ordinary email and your reply will be sent
to the entire list for all to receive. If you wish to respond
to a posting and wish to direct your comments to the individual
who sent it, do not respond to the list. Doing so will result in
all of the list members receiving your personal response. Rather,
create a new email message and email that individual directly.
Yes, the message size limit is 500K.
How can I change
my user settings?
