Contents (A) Try this (B) Procedure for using z-tree in the B74 lab ----------------------------------------- (A) Try this 1. Attempt to simulate one z-tree and 3 z-leafs on your laptop. Read page 90 (section 6.3) of the tutorial for how to do so. Do the same in the actual B74 lab. Instructions on using the PCs in B74 are below. Go through Section 2.2 "A guided tour of a public goods experiment", and make sure you can replicate this simple program. ----------------------------------------- (B) Procedure for using z-tree in the B74 lab 1. Go to the instructor’s PC on the right hand side (the one with the single monitor) 2. Login using - Caplab-12345678-SOM 3. Open Ztree.exe from desktop 4. Open the ztree file (eg: DA_Shyam.ztt) 5. Set the number of subjects in ztree (if necessary) 6. Run client table 7. Go to all Clients’ PCs (Login using - Caplab-12345678-SOM) and click on the z-leaf shortcut (do it sequentially so that we can correspond each person to his subject ID and seat number) 8. Check (via Client Table) that all Client PCs are connected 9. Go to Run -> Save Client Order 10. Go to Run -> Start the Treatment 11.
