C9 Experimental Economics D0 Microeconomics The Department of Economics anticipates an opening for a tenure track position beginning August 2005, contingent upon funding availability. Rank is expected to be at the assistant professor level, but exceptional senior candidates may be considered. The successful candidate will have research interests in micro- related fields using experimental methods, and will be expected to maintain an active research agenda leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and to provide high quality instruction in introductory and upper-level courses in the appointee’s area(s) of specialization. The standard teaching load is nine hours per semester. Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. by August 2005. Applicants should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, one recent paper, a copy of their graduate transcript, and evidence of teaching effectiveness, and should arrange to have three letters of reference sent.
