This is a case adapted by me to provide practice in applying the Argyris theory to a real life working situation. Read Part I to understand the background. In Part 1b You can practice being empathic by covering over Dale`s left hand column and trying to anticipate her unspoken thoughts and feelings. Then in Part 2 you can practice the Argyris metholology by taking Dale`s role, covering each her lines and writing down what you would say. Then compare it with Dale`s actual response.
